Jean M. Blue, A.R.N.P., M.N., B.C., is a board-certified nurse practitioner at the Cardiology Clinic at UW Medical Center and a UW affiliate assistant professor of Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Systems and a teaching associate of Surgery and Cardiothoracic. She has been recognized in Seattle Met Magazine as a "Best Nurse Practitioner." 

Blue has a clinical background in cardiology and over 15 years of experience as a cardiothoracic surgery nurse practitioner. She finds the patients who are actively involved in their care the most gratifying to work with. She also appreciates the value of patient education concerning health maintenance and wellness.

Blue received her medical education at the UW.

Personal Interests

When away from medicine, Blue enjoys horseback riding and gardening.
