Biography

Michael G. Gravett, M.D. is professor of obstetrics and gynecology at UW Medical Center, where he practices high-risk obstetrics. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in maternal-fetal medicine.

Dr. Gravett's clinical interests include high-risk obstetrics with a focus on: prematurity prevention, obstetrical infectious diseases, multiple gestations and global health.

Dr. Gravett believes in actively involving patients in their medical care through education, discussion and accountability. New technologies in the last several years now allow us to treat not only the pregnant patient, but her unborn child as well. This is creating new opportunities to serve both the mother and her unborn child.

Dr. Gravett has been named as a Seattle Top Doctor many times. He is past president of the Infectious Disease Society for Obstetrics & Gynecology.
